KidKraft Majestic Dollhouse Review

KidKraft has done it again as the KidKraft Majestic Dollhouse is simply fabulous! This dollhouse is almost five feet tall and comes with finely crafted wooden furniture which comes to be 34 pieces in all. The eight large rooms can be decorated by the kids to make a complete kitchen, bedroom, and patio, and there is even a laundry room! Large windows give the kids different angles to play from and there’s an elevator that goes between the second and third floor. The entire house is built and planned very realistically including a garage with swinging doors.

The dollhouse is really large, which is fantastic because more than one child can play at a time and this simply means no fights and no tears. The large rooms also mean that popular fashion dolls like Barbie can fit in perfectly into this house. Assembling this house was quite easy and an amateur like me took about three hours. Instructions came with pictures as reference and all the parts were labeled. The craftsmanship is very fine with all the grooves and walls slide into place, and the directions given were really simple. The different screws came in separate pouches, and are color coordinated with the wall they are supposed to fit into. The quality and finish of the wood is fabulous, and is a better option than the cheap plastic stuff available nowadays.

One of its parts arrived broken, but that is probably because of shipping. There is a contact number in the manual and also a section on the website where you can write in the parts that arrived damaged and it’s replaced in a few days. KidKraft really does have the best customer service as they are very prompt. This is a dollhouse which I would recommend to everyone as it is packed with fun and will make moms want to be kid again!

Lalaloopsy Bea Spells-A-lot Doll Review

These days young girls are being exposed to a lot of images that attempt to pull them into things you don’t want them getting involved with at too early of an age. I’m sure, especially for fathers, they want their little girls to remain little girls for as long as possible. And these fathers are going to be interested in purchasing toys for their little girls that will promote that innocence. I was concerned about the same thing, but believe I have found a perfect toy for them to engage their imagination, the Lalaloopsy Bea Spells-a-lot Doll.

Exactly what kind of doll was I getting for my little girl?

The last thing I wanted for my little girl was a doll that would encourage characteristics that would make her materialistic, fascinated with boys, or program her. I wanted a doll that would be colorful, pleasing, and relatively innocent. I found that this particular doll was just that. These dolls are dolls that are able to come to life, and they take on the attributes of the particular clothing they might be wearing. The person who was playing with the doll has to keep in touch with this.

I also discovered that the Lalaloopsy Bea Spells-a-lot Doll was very intellectual. She is comprised of a lot of pieces from a schoolgirl uniform, and she is very formal at times. But one thing that might drive mothers and fathers crazy alike would be that this doll loves to talk often. This attribute may be passed on to your little girl, and she may become very talkative as well. This may be good for people who have little girls who are taking on introverted traits and want to break them.

Small girls will be able to engage their imagination with this particular doll, and they will be able to do it in a safe environment where you are able to monitor them. There are no small pieces that come with it which may cause a hazard for small girls either.

All in all what would you rather have your small girl doing, playing around on the Internet in chat rooms where they can get into all sorts of trouble? Would you rather have them playing games that program them to become boy crazy and sexualized at too early an age? Would you rather have your little girl trying to imitate the over sexualized appearance of some of the other dolls on the market these days? If you don’t then you can cure all those concerns when you decide to purchase this very innocent and playful doll.
