Tonka Ricochet RC Vehicle 4 X 4 RC 27MHZ Review

Tuesday, December 7th, 2010

Kids are still very interested in remote control racers, and new ones are becoming available on the market every season. But this season there is definitely one on the market you should consider. The Tonka Ricochet RC Vehicle 4 X 4 RC 27MHZ is a powerful remote controlled racer that would give your children the ability to enjoy features they may not have been able to enjoy in the past. Have a look at what I’m talking about and see for yourself.

The ability to control how the remote controlled racer is driven.

Remote controlled racers in the past could only be utilized one-way; many times they did not come with special features that allowed you to adjust them. But with this particular remote controlled racer it is able to drive low on the ground, and then activate its monster lifts suspension to drive it high in air. This is going to be a really entertaining, and is going to open up all sorts of possibilities.

This particular remote controlled car is very easy to perform stunts with.

The Tonka Ricochet RC Vehicle 4 X 4 RC 27MHZ (RED) has the ability to perform stunts like no other racer out there. You can create all sorts of different obstacles which the car that it will be able to adjust itself to. Seeing as how you are able to use the monster lift suspension to maneuver it high or low it is going to be easy to set up these obstacles. This remote-controlled racer also comes with an easy-to-use controller and charger as well.

Children will not have to worry about minimize their playing time.

Some remote-controlled racers in the past came with very weak batteries that would only allow children to play with them for very short periods of time. With the Tonka Ricochet RC Vehicle 4 X 4 RC 27MHZ (RED) this isn’t going to be an issue. The rechargeable battery will allow for hours of action so that play will not be affected.

In closing I would say that parents who do not like their children playing with these types of racers might have an issue with it. But on the bright side, there is really no negative feature so to speak of with the Tonka Ricochet RC Vehicle 4 X 4 RC 27MHZ (RED). There are no small parts that would pose a hazard to small children, and you can easily monitor them while they play with it. I would say this remote controlled racer is definitely a good option for small boys.

Step 2 Waterwheel Activity Play Table Review

Sunday, July 18th, 2010

The Step 2 WaterWheel Activity Play Table is a water based action toy that helps to encourage exploration and is visually and texturally stimulating. For children ages 1 – 4 years, this toy can help with imagination and learning.

The parent gets the toy ready by adding water into the funnel and activating the water wheel. Then the water spills over into the different sections of the harbor, canals and lakes. The toy is elevated so the child stays off the ground or the floor, which also helps with any cleanup. Basically, unless the child dumps it over, there should be little cleanup, if any. Keeping the toy off the ground also eliminates the formation of mud, whether on the ground or on your child’s feet. Up to 3 children can play at the same time. There are two drains in the toy to make it simple and easy to empty the water after it’s been used. The set includes 4 pieces in total, a cup, 2 sailboats and the water wheel tower, as well as the actual table itself. The toy can hold up to 4 gallons of water.

The toy is excellent for children who aren’t known for taking to a single activity for more than a short period of time. The water element as well as the ease of set up and use, makes this toy ideal for children with shorter attention spans who need lots of mental stimulation and activity for their hands, especially those “terrible twos”. Children ages 1 – 3 will especially enjoy this toy. Children older than 3 may not find it as stimulating. (more…)
